Wedding plans have been put on hold until we can get out to Washington and get some straight answers. All we’re getting right now is “No.” without any clear reasons. If nothing else, military life will teach me patience because, as J puts it, it’s a lot of “hurry up and wait”.
Without wedding planning and packing (The movers have to pack things themselves to ensure it’s done correctly, so things won’t break en route, which is understandable, I guess.), I’ve lost my two main sources of distraction. But time seems to be racing by regardless – Thanksgiving is less than TWO WEEKS away? What? – which is both a good thing and a bad thing. Good because it’s that much closer to J coming home, getting officially married and our family road trip. Bad because I’m realizing how behind I am on everything I need to do over the next few months.
Next Saturday is my first Stampin’ Up! workshop. Since I signed up in August, it’s about time, but I feel like it’s come up way too fast. Regardless, I’m having a blast putting together samples, and our upcoming mini catalog and Sale-a-bration catalog arrived yesterday with my December Stampin’ Success magazine, so I have a whole new batch of products to drool over. I’m hoping to get a start on my Nickel and a Dime blog this week, so I can have that ready before the workshop. Wish me luck!
I’m restarting my Day Zero List (again). Third time’s a charm, right? I think I’ll start it on New Year’s. That way we’ll have so much going on in the following months that I’ll be guaranteed to do SOMETHING on my list. 😀
Also, I’m WAY too excited about this…
I talked my sister into going to the midnight showing Thursday. I’m a nerd.
